How do I get paid?

Our goal is to get you paid as quickly as possible after you sell your product. Please follow these guidelines to avoid any delays. 

  • The quickest way to get paid is to via your Paypal account. Go ahead and open an account, if you haven't already.
  • Can I withdraw funds via PayPal in my home country? Find out here.
  • If yes, please contact PayPal via email or phone to link a Visa card issued in your home country to receive payment.
  • Once a sale has been made, ship the correct product to the buyer  quickly. 
  • Upload tracking details of that shipment so we can follow up on the order. 
  • Once delivery of your item is confirmed, your funds will be available in your PayPal account.
  • In some cases, it may not be convenient for a vendor to be paid via PayPal. In such cases the vendor can opt for a payment to be made to his local bank account in his home country via wire transfer
    • You will need to provide us with your banking information (Account Name and Number, Bank Name, Routing Number and Address). We recommed Bank of Nova Scotia or CIBC if you live in the Caribbean.
    • This transfer may incur a fee which will be deducted from the transaction amount upon transfer. IslaCart does not charge any fees for this service.
    • We will constantly be improving ways to get you paid quicker and with as few middlemen as possible, preferably none - so hang tight.

How does IslaCart make money?

We make money when you make money, THE END!

IslaCart deducts 10% transaction fee for every listing sold in your shop. This amount is paid to us only after your product has been sold and payment has been received from the buyer.

To guarantee compliance and ensure that your buyers are happy to continue conducting business on our website, we pay only after we confirm shipment and delivery of the item sold to the buyer.

You can also update information on the status of your delivery to expedite payment to you. 

 

Can I return an item?

Our Returns Policy

Returning items purchased on IslaCart Marketplace is subject to the return policy offered by each individual seller. If you used the I'll Pickup option when you purchased your item and the seller accepts returns, you must return the item directly to the seller from whom the purchase was made.

Yea, thats cute and all, but I did not receive what was advertised

At IslaCart, our goal is to provide you with a  safe and enjoyabe shopping experience. If for any reason you have received the wrong item, or an item that is not functional and was advertised as "in working order" please click here to complete a Returns Request Form immediately. You have 7 days from the day of delivery to return your order. For more information please click here.

Can I sell anything on IslaCart?

Almost! Before listing your item, please verify that its allowed on IslaCart Marketplace, and find out if we have specific rules and conditions on how you should list it. Check the list of prohibited and restricted items here. You also need to make sure that the sale of your item complies with all laws.

Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including restrictions of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.
